Today, we celebrate a very special milestone - the 9th anniversary of Ross Construction Group, LLC!

Nine years ago today RCG was formed by our President David Ross & COO Andy Ross, and what a phenomenal nine years it has been! From canning facilities, to townhomes, to restaurants and more we have built many an impressive project with the help of an equally impressive staff and construction industry community. And with that in mind, we wanted to take this time to not only celebrate our anniversary, but to thank our RCG team members who help make this company run every day. We wouldn't be here without the hard work and dedication that you all bring to your job.

So, cheers to another successful year! We can't wait to see what the next one brings.

Last week, we celebrated the groundbreaking of our newest project: Morgan Industrial Technology’s (MIT) Building! MIT is a local 417 business that sells, rents, and repairs orbital welding equipment from a multitude of manufacturers.

The project will include the construction of a second building that will help house their growing operations. The 14,629 sq. ft. space will include a work area, an inventory space, a shipping and receiving area, two conference rooms, multiple offices, a break room, restrooms, and warehouse space.

We're excited to be a part of the team bringing this build to life and cannot wait to share more about every phase of this project!

Last week, Project Manager Annie Cox, Project Engineer Brenden Williams, and Marketing Coordinator Rachel Shell went to the Missouri State University Construction Career Fair here in Springfield, MO.

There they met with students looking for summer internships or their first post-grad job about what we do, what it's like to work at RCG, and how our company is dedicated to our core values of Relationships, Integrity, & Quality. Specifically, how all three of those values make for a workplace built on respect, understanding, and investing in our people, our clients, our subcontractors, and our community as a whole.

Last week, we hosted our first ever RCG bowling tournament! Both our Springfield & Bentonville offices competed, with Project Engineer Brenden Williams taking home the gold (candle) at the SWMO office and Project Executive Greg Ferus securing his win in NWA.

Thank you to everyone who competed or came out to spend time with their coworkers. We always look forward to hosting these events, and are always excited to see our team members showcasing our core value of Relationships.

Our Domino's project in Mountain Home, AR, has entered the finishes phase with paint and flooring currently taking place. Not much more to complete before this Domino's falls into place.

Our Main & A Apartment Complex project, located in Bentonville, AR, continues to trek ahead. Current tasks include:

- Painting the exterior trim around the windows of Building A
- Laying brick at Building B
- Installing the underground storm water detention system for Building A
- Insulating Building C

This build is one of our larger-scale projects, but our team is handling each item on the list with an impressive attention to detail. This exemplifies one of RCG's core values: Quality. Each member of our team strives to build a high-quality building for our clients, and Main & A is no exception.

Yesterday, American Buildings stopped by to present RCG with their Top Twenty-Five PEMB Builders Award. Out of 1000 general contractors that work with them, we made their top 2.5%. The award also came with some delicious BBQ from Whole Hog Cafe, which was a team favorite.

Thank you to American Buildings for this recognition, and for our team's dedication to our core values of Relationships, Integrity, & Quality. Our team's consistent utilization of these three traits is the reason we achieved this award.

This week our team oversaw the slab pour of the Bus Andrews project in Springfield, MO. Donco 3 Construction LLC, our concrete subcontractor, poured roughly 115 cubic yards, which completed the slab in its entirety.
