When Oak Grove first incorporated in January, 1973, our focus was on remodeling and new home construction. Our focus has widened along with the years of experience and the demand for related construction projects. Disaster restoration, commercial remodeling, and metal building construction were natural additions to our services. Our expert staff with over 25 full time employees plus numerous quality subcontractors makes us the largest local remodeler in the Springfield area.

Today, we pause to remember and honor David Knetzer, a former co-owner of our company and a cornerstone of our history for 37 years.

David's leadership, work ethic, and commitment to excellence helped shape not only the structures we’ve built, but the values we continue to stand on today. He believed in doing things the right way—with integrity, craftsmanship, and respect for both the work and the people behind it.

Beyond the job site, Dave was a mentor, a steady presence, and a friend to many. His impact will continue to be felt in every project we complete and in the culture he helped create.

We extend our deepest condolences to his family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. He will be greatly missed and never forgotten.
