Moisture destroys homes.

High moisture levels in a crawlspace can lead to mold, wood rot, damaged insulation, and long-term structural problems if theyโ€™re ignored.

We found elevated moisture here, so weโ€™ve got the dehumidifier and fans running to get it under control. The key is catching the problem earlyโ€”and that starts with actually checking your crawlspace.

A crawlspace may be out of sight, but it shouldnโ€™t be out of mind.

Building a quality custom home starts long before the foundation is poured.

Today, OWN Engineering is on site performing a geotechnical study to evaluate the soil conditions and help ensure the foundation is properly engineered for this home.

Itโ€™s another step in doing things the right wayโ€”from the ground up.

The rough-in stage is where the systems that make a home function every day begin to take shape, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and more.

This stage is when thoughtful planning and careful coordination are essential. Our team along with our trusted subcontractors help to ensure every finished home is comfortable, functional, and built to perform for years to come.

It's the little things that say the most about who you are. โค๏ธ

Today, our Site Superintendent, Greg, and Project Manager, Kyle, were busy working on one of our projects when they noticed a young boy walking his bike up a hill because his chain had popped off.

They stopped what they were doing, took a few minutes, and got him back on his way.

It was a small gesture, but it says a lot about the kind of people they are.

At John Marion Custom Homes, we treat every project with the same care we would if we were building for our own family, and we're proud that our team carries that same spirit into the community.
