Had to take a couple days off to let my hands recover from making all those planters (still have some available if you would like one). Decided i needed to do something with wood besides cedar, so dug into my cut-off bin. First a littlw back story:
I have been following the journey of Alistor, a baby goat that is one if several animals cared for by Brandy Kristin. When he was born, Alistor was blind and could not stand up or walk well. She got him a cart so he could build up his strength. Alistor is now walking about her shop (Unique Enchanments-Check it out!) and much of his vision has returned.
The pictures Brandy posted inspired me to make this frame, print 4 of the pics from Alistor's journey and give it to her, as a bonus I got to meet Alistor!!!
The woods included in this are Black Walnut, Maple, Padauk, and I think Ash or Boxelder. Finished with Linseed oil, then a beeswax, and orange extract mixture. Pretty happy with the final product, reminds me how difficult it is to cut glass (I really need a good straight line glass cutter!).
Again, several planters left, and if you don't want one if those left, I still have plenty of cedar to make one you do want! Blessings and thank you for stopping by. 😊
