Core Purpose: Strengthen and amplify the success of women in the construction industry. We are a nonprofit organization focused on supporting women in the construction industry. We are a fun group of ladies who are passionate about supporting our community, offering education and training while providing self-development for women who have construction roles from administration to field positions.

You don’t have to be field employee or laborer to be a part of this wonderful organization. Our members come from all departments including accounting, entry level and senior project management, sales, estimating, general laborers and more. We have monthly meetings and would love to invite you to join us to see how we are shaping the pathway for women in our industry. If interested in attending, please send us an email. We’re looking forward to gathering together as we install our 2026–2027 Board of Directors and celebrate the start of another year of connection, leadership, and supporting women in construction.

Members, friends, coworkers, and guests are all welcome to join us for dinner and help us welcome our incoming board!

Whether you're a longtime member or you've been curious about NAWIC, our Paint & Sip Mixer is the perfect opportunity to meet women in the construction industry in a relaxed, fun setting.
No painting experience needed—we'll provide everything you need to create your masterpiece!

Last weekend, one of our members had the opportunity to represent our chapter by volunteering at the Springfield Public Schools Back to School Bash!

This annual event helps local students and families prepare for a successful school year by providing backpacks, school supplies, community resources, and more. We’re proud to support opportunities that strengthen our community and make a positive impact.

A special thank you to our member for giving her time to serve and for representing NAWIC with pride.

WIC Week Committee

Today we're highlighting Committee Co-Chairs Jil Blacksher and Julie Grauf and the WIC Week Committee.

The WIC Week Committee plans and coordinates our annual Women in Construction Week celebration. Through educational programs, networking opportunities, community outreach, and industry engagement, this committee helps raise awareness of the valuable contributions women make throughout the construction industry.
