Vendor Outage Notification – Cellular Alarm Communicators
Subject: Important Notice: Network Outage Affecting some Alarm Communicators

Dear Customers,
We are notifying you of a vendor related network outage that is currently affecting certain brand communicators. This issue may impact the ability of your fire or security system to transmit signals to the central monitoring station.
What You Need to Know
• The outage is external and originates with the vendor.
• Your alarm system will continue to function locally (detecting smoke, heat, intrusion, etc.).
• However, signal transmission to the monitoring center may be delayed or unavailable until the vendor restores service.
• We are actively monitoring the situation and will provide updates as they become available.
What We Are Doing
• We are in direct communication with our central station and receiving real time status updates.
• No action is required on your part at this time.
What You Should Do
If your system displays a trouble condition related to communication (com fail, fail to communicate), this is likely tied to the outage. Once service is restored, the trouble may clear automatically. If it does not, please try to disarm/clear your system like normal. If the system is not restored, contact our office and we will assist you.
We Will Keep You Updated
We will send a follow up notification once the vendor confirms full restoration of service.

Verizon LTE communicators

Update: Some users may still be experiencing intermittent degraded performance in connecting to Verizon LTE communicators via AlarmNet, Total Connect 2.0, and/or Compass remote commands. This may result in various commands responding intermittently, such as panel login, changes to a panel, arm/disarm and failure to load panels.

Our team continues to actively investigate the issue. We are actively engaged with Verizon's Technical Team. We will continue to provide updates until full functionality is restored.

Some users may experience degraded performance in connecting to Verizon LTE communicators via AlarmNet, Total Connect 2.0, and/or Compass remote commands. This can result in no response to remote tests, connections, and inability to arm/disarm via Total Connect.

Alarm delivery is not impacted. These devices remain connected to the network and will send locally generated alarm signaling.

Burglary Investigation on Rosegate Court

Berkeley Heights, NJ – On Monday, February 24, 2025, the Berkeley Heights Police Department responded to a report of a burglary at a residence located on Rosegate Court. The incident occurred while the homeowners were away on vacation.

Upon arrival, officers conducted a preliminary investigation which revealed that unknown suspects gained access to the home through a second-floor rear bedroom window. The interior of the residence showed signs of having been ransacked, and several personal belongings appear to have been disturbed or taken.

The Berkeley Heights Police Department is actively investigating this incident and urges members of our community to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activity in their neighborhoods.

For our dual path customers:

Resideo is presently updating the firmware on devices. The updates started on 11/12/2024 and will continue until approximately 12/20/2024.

During the update of these devices, the end user may experience keypad beeping. This beeping will either clear automatically after the update or the end-user can press any key to silence the beep or their code and off twice to clear out the message.

The devices may generate the below signals to the Central station during the update process.
