With the unprecedented hailstorm that impacted our area this week, Queen City Roofing implores everyone to have their facilities checked out by qualified professionals. While some of these images might not look that serious, each of them require repair and service to maintain their warranty and viability.

Just because your roof or wall system doesn't leak or appear damaged does not mean that it is not. If we do not service the specific damages we see, we will know and recommend an established area professional that can.

A very nice overview video showcasing all the great exhibitions and activities that area students can experience at Build My Future. Queen City Roofing believes strongly in fostering education and opportunity for the youth and next generation, as they are the future for us all.

Had an absolute BLAST at Build My Future 2026! We pulled out all the stops to exhibit our trades this year. We didn't let the rain dampen our spirits!

This year, students were able to learn about:

-Commercial roofing application and maintenance with our roofing and service departments
-Boom lift operation and use with our architectural sheet metal department
-Crane operation and rigging with our crane operator and roofing department
-Metal plate wall panel installation with our architectural sheet metal department
-Using specialized equipment like telehandler forklifts and vacuum-hoists to move heavy wall panels with our architectural sheet metal department
-And more, plus co****le!

We always enjoy taking the time to show the youth our trades, share our experiences, and be a part of an effort to educate and invest in our futures. Education comes in many different form factors, and the trades are a vital part of the infrastructure of our society.

We appreciate everyone that stopped by, ran some equipment, tossed some co****le, and asked questions. It's great to visit with the students, parents, and educators involved. We heard numerous times: "Man, I wish they had this when I was in high school!"

Thank you to the leaders in our roofing, architectural sheet metal, and service departments for helping us showcase what we do and invest in the next generation of skilled tradespeople!

Taking some time to appreciate the "& Sheet Metal" part of our company today. Our architectural sheet metal crews specialize in all sorts of building cladding/envelope systems, not exclusively sheet metal, as seen here with these insulated metal wall panels and composite material wall panels (white and grey, respectively).

We're proud of and appreciate the talent our sheet metal installers (more like "sheet metal artists," in our opinion) display every day in their craft!

While we don't make hay when the sun shines, we have made progress on a few local projects this past week with the nice weather! Our roofing department is hard at it on a local roof replacement project, and our architectural sheet metal department is making great progress at a new construction project. We're always proud to work on projects in our own backyard that will benefit our community for years to come.
