Something new! 👇
Blush is proud to announce Chef Andrew Gantt as its new Executive Chef, and with him comes a new standard for what dining in Effingham County can be.
Chef Gantt doesn’t play it safe in the kitchen... and he never has.
With over 25 years in the kitchen, his career has been forged through long nights, hard lessons, and an unwavering respect for the craft. From his early days at the Vermont Country Deli to leading kitchens across Vermont and the Southeast, Gantt has built a style that is bold, intentional, and deeply rooted in flavor.
But what truly sets him apart isn’t just what’s on the plate, it’s how it arrives.
Drawing inspiration from culinary legends like Anthony Bourdain and Marco Pierre White, Chef Gantt brings a rare blend of grit and refinement to his work. From Bourdain, he carries the soul, the belief that food should tell a story and hit you somewhere deeper than just your appetite. From Marco, he brings the discipline, the philosophy that every plate should reflect precision, intention, and respect for the craft.
That balance shows up in every dish. Bold flavors meet clean, elevated presentation. Each plate is designed not just to satisfy, but to command attention, thoughtful, composed, and unmistakably upscale without losing its heart.
Chef Gantt has cooked for names like Michael J. Fox and Whoopi Goldberg, but what matters most is how he cooks: fearless, precise, and with a clear point of view that refuses to be watered down.
Before joining Blush, he served as Executive Chef at the Kimpton Brice Hotel in Savannah and as Sous Chef at The Bohemian, helping shape some of the city’s most memorable dining experiences. In 2024, he was recognized as one of Savannah’s Rising Stars by StarChefs, a nod to both his talent and his commitment to doing things the right way, not the easy way.
Now, he’s bringing that same energy, passion, and elevated approach to Springfield.
At Blush, Chef Gantt is on a mission to raise the bar. No shortcuts. No dialing it back. Just honest food executed at a higher level, built on strong technique, layered flavor, and presentation that turns every plate into an experience.
The goal is simple: to give Effingham County something it’s been missing.
Food that looks as good as it tastes.
Food that carries presence.
Food that raises expectations.
Because great dining shouldn’t require a drive to Savannah.
It should be right down the road and it should be unforgettable.
