Why is this water bright green?

This is a septic dye test. We add a non-toxic tracer dye to the system and watch where it shows up. It tells us whether everything is flowing where it should, or whether there’s a leak, a bad connection, or a problem hiding underground.

Swipe through to see one of our latest water service line installations from excavation to connection.

We also ran tracer wire along the new line, which is a copper wire that lets the pipe be located from above ground years from now so future digs and repairs know exactly where it runs. It’s a small detail that prevents big problems.

We’re in the drive thru of Burger King… but we’re not here for a Whopper Jr. and onion rings. Not this time, at least! 🍔
