If someone has to add refrigerant to your HVAC sytem every year, there’s a reason.

People think that air conditioners “use up” Freon, but it really just cycles around your sealed system.

So if the Freon levels keep getting lower, that usually points to something like a leak in your evaporator coil. Adding more refrigerant may get your A/C cooling again for now, but it doesn’t fix the problem.

We got the Watkins crew and their families together for another company picnic! 🍖🍦

If your A/C's running but warm air is coming out of the vents, don't worry quite yet. There are a few things worth checking before assuming you need a huge repair.

Start by checking your thermostat settings and air filter. A dirty filter can block your airflow enough to cause some major problems and sometimes the problem really is just as simple as having the wrong thermostat settings.
