🚧 Exciting things are taking shape at The Oaks Park!

The City of Red Oak has shared a behind-the-scenes look at its brand-new playground, and we couldn't be more excited to be part of this project!

When complete, the new playground will feature:
🌳 Play structures for ages 2–5 and 5–12
☀️ Shade over all play structures and swings
👶 A "Mommy & Me" swing
♿ A full-bucket swing for inclusive play

Construction is already underway, and we can't wait to see families enjoying this beautiful new community space when it opens this fall.

📚 School is back in session, and so is outdoor play!

Students at Langham Elementary in Nederland ISD are kicking off the new school year with a brand-new playground designed for adventure, movement, and fun.

From climbing challenges that build confidence to engaging play opportunities that encourage imagination and social interaction, this new play space gives students a place to stay active, connect with friends, and create lasting memories during recess.

We're proud to partner with Nederland ISD to help create an outdoor environment where students can learn, play, and thrive.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Five-Star Service!

Moving to a new campus can be overwhelming—especially when you’re responsible for creating a safe, exciting play space for students.

Kelly Nelson of The Westwood School found herself facing just that challenge after more than 20 years at the school’s previous location. From use zones and surfacing to design and installation, there was a lot to consider.

Thankfully, Kraftsman was able to help out!

Our team worked closely with Westwood to measure the space, develop a plan, and handle the installation—helping the school have its new playground ready on Day 1 at its new campus.

Nature and play come together at Pollinator Park! 🐝🌼

Kraftsman was proud to partner with PEA Group and Advanced Construction & Development to bring this one-of-a-kind destination to the Woodland Hills community in Willis, Texas.

Inspired by the vital role of honeybees and pollinators, Pollinator Park encourages children to explore, imagine, and connect with the natural world through play. The park features a custom honeybee-themed playground complete with slides, climbers, swings, honeybee spring riders, sensory play elements, and inclusive features like an ADA-accessible merry-go-round and team swing so children of all abilities can play together.

Flower-inspired shade canopies, vibrant poured-in-place rubber surfacing with colorful floral graphics, and a custom honeycomb shelter with picnic tables create a welcoming place for families to gather, celebrate, and make lasting memories.

Projects like Pollinator Park demonstrate how thoughtful design can transform a neighborhood park into a destination that inspires outdoor activity, learning, and community connection.
