We've been doing this work for over 40 years β€” and the part that still means the most to us is the trust that North Houston homeowners place in us when they invite us onto their property.

Pest control isn't one-size-fits-all. Every home is different. Every yard has its own conditions, every family has different concerns, and what works in one neighborhood doesn't automatically apply to another. That's why we start by listening, not by selling.

We don't require contracts. We don't push services you don't need. We talk through what we're seeing, explain our thinking, and let you decide what feels right. If that means a one-time service, great. If it means building something longer-term, we're here for that too.

Over four decades, we've built relationships with families in Woodforest, The Woodlands, Spring, Conroe, Kingwood, Magnolia, Klein, Willis, and Tomball. Many of those relationships have carried across generations β€” parents who trusted us, and now their grown kids do too.

That kind of trust isn't something we take lightly. It's something we work to earn every single day.

If you've been looking for a pest control company that actually listens β€” we'd love to hear from you.

If you've noticed small winged insects gathering around your porch lights in the evenings lately, you're not alone. This time of year β€” especially around late May β€” is peak swarming season for Formosan termites here in the Houston area.

Termite swarmers (also called alates) are reproductive termites that emerge to find new locations to establish colonies. Seeing them doesn't automatically mean your home has an active problem, but it is a sign that termites are active in your area, and it's worth taking a closer look.

A few things to keep in mind: swarmers themselves don't damage wood β€” they're not the workers. However, they are a sign that a mature colony is somewhere nearby. If you're finding shed wings inside your home or along windowsills, that's worth a professional conversation.

The good news is that a thorough inspection can tell you a lot. We've been working with homeowners across The Woodlands, Kingwood, Spring, Conroe, and Woodforest for over 40 years, and termite season is something we understand well in this part of Texas.

If you're curious about what you're seeing around your home, we're happy to talk it through with you β€” no pressure, just information.

It's that time of year again in North Houston β€” the evenings are warm, the neighbors are grilling, and the mosquitoes have decided the backyard is their territory too.

Mosquito season ramps up through May and June here in the Houston area, and our humid subtropical climate gives them exactly what they love: warmth, moisture, and plenty of places to breed. Even a small amount of standing water β€” a flower pot saucer, a clogged gutter, or a low spot in the yard β€” can support a surprising number of mosquitoes.

A few simple habits make a meaningful difference. Tip and toss standing water weekly, keep gutters clear, and consider treating birdbaths and decorative ponds with products designed for that purpose. And if you're noticing persistent mosquito pressure despite your best efforts, that's often a sign there's a breeding source nearby that's easy to miss.

We offer customized mosquito services for homes across Spring, The Woodlands, Conroe, Woodforest, Magnolia, and surrounding areas. No contracts required β€” just honest solutions tailored to your yard and your life.

Hint: it's not a dirty home. It's moisture β€” and Houston has plenty of it.

This is one of the most important things we try to help homeowners understand. Cockroaches, silverfish, moisture ants, and several other common pests aren't drawn to a home because it's unclean. They're drawn to conditions β€” specifically humidity, dampness, and the areas of a home where moisture tends to collect.

Gutters that don't drain fully, crawl spaces without proper ventilation or moisture barriers, areas under sinks with slow drips, low spots in the yard that stay damp after rain β€” these are the environments pests find most comfortable. And in North Houston's climate, these conditions are common in a lot of well-maintained homes.

When we visit a home, we're not just looking at the pests. We're looking at what's creating the conditions that draw them in.

A few things worth checking this time of year: make sure your gutters are pulling water away from the foundation, look for any soft spots or dampness in crawl spaces, and check the seals around plumbing entry points and utility lines. Small adjustments in these areas can meaningfully reduce pest pressure through the summer.

If you'd like a knowledgeable set of eyes on your home's conditions, we're happy to come take a look and talk through what we see β€” in plain language, with no pressure.

Fire ant mounds are one of the most common calls we get in North Houston β€” especially after spring storms. If you've been watching new mounds appear in your yard every time it rains, you're not imagining it. That's a very consistent pattern for this area.

Here's what's actually happening: fire ant colonies don't appear overnight. They've been underground all along. When rain floods their tunnels, they move upward and rebuild β€” often in a new spot, sometimes overnight, sometimes much closer to the house or play areas than before.

The challenge with fire ants is that what you can see above ground is only part of the picture. A mature colony can extend several feet underground and house tens of thousands of workers. Surface-only treatments tend to scatter the colony without addressing it, which is why the mounds keep coming back.

The right approach looks at the whole colony, not just the mound. And because every yard is different β€” soil type, drainage, grass type, shade β€” a plan built around your specific property works significantly better than a one-size-fits-all product from a shelf.

We've been customizing fire ant solutions across Woodforest, Spring, Willis, Klein, and Conroe for decades. We know how these colonies behave on this soil, in this weather.
