Recently we had a claim where the adjuster didn’t want to cover anything in the home. His estimate was $26,000 to do the whole house. He said the house was only worth that much because it was a manufactured home.

Well, it was worth much more because after pushing for them to pay out they settled at $70,659!!! It’s crazy how they can be this far off, but they do it everyday.

Does anyone have an Insurance claim on their home right now? Or know someone who does? I just went out to Austin because the insurance company gave this client $3100 towards an entire home of damage. I went in and did an inspection and collected enough documentation to result in a $46,000 estimate that is detailed and precise enough to show the insurance why the money needs to be paid out.
