IT'S TICK SEASON!! Did you know Texas is home to over a hundred different species of ticks? These include The Lonestar Tick, Black Legged Deer Tick, American Dog Tick, and many more.
Ticks can be extremely harmful to Dogs, Humans, and other wildlife if left untreated or unidentified. They can cause diseases such as Lyme disease, Spotted fever rickettsiosis, Tick-borne relapsing fever, and Tularemia.
Fun Fact: Ticks will reach towards and latch on to any moving object including attempts to grab your shadow! 😨
Ticks have a lifespan of around 3 years, so any home that becomes invested with Ticks and is left untreated will be invested for at least 3 years or more with the new generations.

If you went outside this past Mother's Day weekend you would have most likely seen Termite Swarmers flying about, whether by your front porch light or out on the road being illuminated by the headlights.
The job of a Termite swarmer is to find a place to start a new colony; by themselves, they are harmless and will die shortly thereafter.
In the next few weeks we will stop seeing these swarmers but... what does that mean for your home? Unfortunately, your home will not show signs of Termite activity until 1 year after the colony is established.
