Huge thank you to everyone that came out to support Parker in his first year in the Pierce County swine project.

Thanks to Croix Valley Carpentry out of Hudson for purchasing Parker’s pig.

Thanks to Finstad Enterprise for being the contending bidder and A&J Construction for bidding on it as well.

Well water nitrate screening opportunities in Pierce County.

Land Conservation in collaboration with Public Health hosts free drinking water nitrate screening for private wells. Please bring in ~8 oz. of water in a clean closed container (preferably glass) collected within 24 hours of the event. It is important to run the tap for 5 minutes (on cold at full flow) before collecting the sample. Participation is free and all private wells are eligible regardless of location.
