Please watch and listen for educational purposes! I meant to say plumb and level as those are two completely different things! Plumb is the vertical leveling and, level is the horizontal leveling of an object.

MLS Contractors shoutout to these guys for their much needed help and assistance on a project as large as this one!

This project was a heck of one.. Again water damage is here to soil the happy days of a customer… however don’t worry Hammer Away Construction and MLS Contractors are here to save the day! Rotted framing was repaired, proper flashing and weather proofing was done and a much needed gutter system installed by Tri-state gutters! They did a great job for a great price so shoutout to them too! If your house doesn’t have a rain re-direction system please get on this right away as it can cause a serious water damage problem because water just pours against the side of your house and creeps in we’re ever it can. Aesthetically this house was designed a certain way without gutter for the looks… however, looks aren’t everything. Functionality is very important for things in the long run so you don’t have a gigantic bill to worry about in the future. Hop on these problems now as they can become an even bigger problem if you don’t address them quickly! Water is a terrible culprit and I promise it can ruin a homeowners day very fast

A custom made cabinet door from finished plywood and the edges routed to give it a nice overall finished look! The customer wanted something to hide the couch cushions in this area so I did what I do and made it happen! She was super happy with the outcome of this and so was I!

A much needed repair done on an expensive piece of furniture! The wood grain was identified as oak and a veneer was added and so were some legs to give this couch a much needed support system in the middle as you can see!
I really enjoyed the process of this repair and I am very happy with the outcome. As is the customer!

MLS Contractors was the one responsible for getting the necessary permits, estimates, billing, etc.. without them this project would not have been possible. Thanks for all the help!

A much needed concrete sidewalk pad repair. There was a tree root growing underneath of this pad and pushed it up causing it to be a tripping hazard. This customer did their due diligence before the borough even contacted them and had us repair it before bad things had a chance of happening! Patton township did their part as well by having Larry the arborist come out and take care of the root in hopes that it will not kill the tree and cause this to happen again! This repair took one day and can help to delay the cause of headaches due to tripping hazards in the future. Believe it or not if you are in state college or bellefonte or surrounding areas… you probably didn’t know you own your sidewalk and don’t even realize you are the one responsible to take care of these repairs! So please keep an eye out for hazards like these like this homeowner did! Wire meshing was used to reinforce the Crete as well as Rebar to tie it into both sides of the other pads!

Simple bathroom faucet installation with a silicone bead placed at the base so water doesn’t creep through like it did with the old one! Not all sinks are the same and faucets are measured by there center set measurement. So before purchasing make sure you get the right center set faucet for your sink! Always refer to a professional if you have any questions or concerns!

Structural framing repair of an improperly flashed wall. Proper flashing of windows and doors is crucial in order to deter water from entering framing and destroying it over years of constant water contact which leads to severe rot in instances. Insallation of a proper moisture barrier was also done because there wasn’t even one actually present in this case which was just incredible in my opinion. The fact that this framing was even in the condition it was was incredible. Considering there was no moisture barrier is should’ve been much worse! Don’t let those water issues get out of hand as it only leads to more work and more cost. Take care of them before they get ahead of you! Installation of drywall, painting, framing which includes sheathing, studs, headers, rim joists,
floor joists, sub-floor, insulate, flashing, moisture barrier, insulate v***r barrier, and door was all done by my company in this instance. The windows and double door was installed by Home Depot who also did a fantastic job! Give them a call for big window and door projects they do a great job every time!
