This is the exterior wall to a bathroom on a 1 1/2 story house. Moisture traveled through the plaster/lathe walls hit the cold winter air (no insulation in the walls) and condensed, resulting in wood rot over a long period of time. At Quarve, we identify the root cause and solve it. In this case, tear it all off, layer of spray foam to air seal and fiberglass batting.
