Thank you, Jamie and Nathan, for cutting down the rose that got this type of disease. We have to protect the other roses! “Rose Rosette Disease” is rampant in our area, and causes curling of the new growth and a broom-like appearance to the twigs, giving it the nickname “Witch’s Broom.” It is incurable, and spread by tiny mites. We will burn the canes as soon as weather permits.
