Roofers, fencers, and arborists when 60 mph winds come through. 

Seriously, don’t use some storm chaser, fly by night, contractor to get damage fixed. Use someone local, that someone you know, has used before. Ask around. Too many outfits do subpar to horrible work and you’ll spin twice the amount of money fixing it.   , ,

When your online content director is also the President, CEO, estimator, labor, delivery, and cleanup, regularly created content suffers. Long time, no post! This was a doozy! 11’ off the ground and your foot would go straight through rotten deck boards. Much of the framing was a joke and unsafe. New BIGGER deck, change of location for the staircase opening up the basement view. New roof over part of the deck! Probably will go beck and screen it in at a later date.

Not your run of the mill playground. Client wanted something that flowed with their house design and aesthetics. More of a space for the kiddos to play, but also to sit and create. Hence, the lack of typical playground adornments. Spindles for handrails are cedar branches, as well as what the client collected. The board and batten walls are locally sourced poplar. All boards and battens were hewn from raw poplar slabs. (1 week process) Tin roof! (Not rusty, yet. 😉) 10’ swing beam. Firewood shed was an add-on.

This was a really fun build! Screened in back porch with corrugated metal roof. Lower center lounge deck, side raised grill deck, and outdoor shower. Under the grill deck is storage for the riding mower. Solar stair lights that illuminate the steps at night. Perfect place to grill, chill, and take a dip! (Pool not pictured)

I guess if you have to hunker down at home while a pandemic is raging, it could be worse. (Kitchen and decor client provided) The waterfall and fire pit table, ultra relaxing. Never have done a screen barn door before. Client found a picture, I made it. Notice the sliding doggy door next to it. 😉

I got my start in woodwork 21 years ago. I was building prefab playground kits for a friend. I’ve built hundreds over the years, but don’t do many anymore, especially custom kits like this. When a family member asks though…. Might have to do some more of these soon!

15 years in business! I started my online presence in March of 2018, and my last update was August of 2018! 🤦🏼 Let’s start new again, with something old. This deck, pergolas, and outdoor shower were built 7 years ago. (Upper deck was already there) A new coat of stain and it still pops! Summer fun!

Heard ads lately for one business saying they are the “official sponsor of spring,” and another saying they are the “official sponsor of football.” I didn’t know a business could do that?! Who deems them that? On what authority can they do that? Has this been “verified?!” Well, if you can just claim anything nowadays, Backyards by Bullfrog is the “official sponsor of backyards.” If you can’t beat em, join em!
