The large mealworms are slowly, but surely, pupating and becoming beetles. I'd like to guess I have about 20 adult beetles at this time that should be close to sexual maturity. Soon, within the next 2 months(?), I should have my first batch of homegrown mini mealworms!! I don't know about you but I'm excited 😁

All the mealworms are working hard to grow! Eating bran and carrots day and night. They're diligent little buggers!

MINI 1/4IN MEALWORMS ARE CLOSING IN ON SMALL1/2" - give them another week and they'll be little fat 1/2" in no time!

I'll be purchasing 2lbs of a Garden Mix which include AFRICANS
EISENIAS and HYBRID RED WIGGLERS on April 7th to restart my personal composting. Hoping to start have a good amount of worms by this time next year :)

The worms seem to be doing great after the harvest! I even spotted a baby worm at the top of the compost. 💕
