π± Are you seeing a lot of this in your lawn lately? Is it a w**d taking over my lawn?
π‘ Often mistaken for a w**d, the bluegrass in your lawn begins to produce an abundant amount of seedhead as soil temperatures continue to rise.
π± This is a normal occurrence each spring and typically lasts for a few weeks.
π‘ To help keep your lawn looking it's best, increased mowing frequency is recommended.
π± Your lawn is directing a lot of its energy towards seedhead production and away from leaf tissue production. If the lawn is allowed to get too long it can stress things out, creating a "stalky" appearance and loss of good color.
