On today's episode of "Hardscaping Done Wrong" we have this amazing little stair wall. This was originally put in by a pool company and repaired multiple times. It continued to settle and move even after the multiple repair attempts, and now we know why. Geogrid laid directly onto clay soils does not simulate a true compacted stone base. Geogrid can help in the structure when used correctly, but this is no where near correct. Worst part is, I have a feeling this is not the worst thing we will see on this wall replacement. Let's see how it goes!

Friday week flashback. A couple quick shots of work we are doing, bidding, and completing! It was a busy week and fought some rain here and there but overall it was a successful week. Huge thanks to our great team and amazing customers!

It's been a busy week. And our word of the fall is... push. Weeks of rain, projects taking longer than expected and just overall not getting as much completed as we wanted makes for a busy fall. Joe and his crew spent the week continuing work on our Natural stone wall project while Brandon continued work on our new bins and making topsoil. Our A&D Equipment rotastar screener works amazing! With some more use and mixing in different soils we will reall be able to make a great product to use across our projects. We always are trying to reinvest in our selves and equipment to help take the "hard" out of hardscaping!

In the heat race Kaden started on the pole and stayed there. Redrew the #2, and a very fun race led to Kaden taking the checkers 🏁 making him 2 for 2.
