At 8:46a on March 20, I got a text from Michelle at congratulating us on winning the LOVE award. We were in the midst of recovering from a brutal winter. Situations outside of our control, 6 inches of ice on the ground for 8 weeks, and the stagnant sale of one large piece of machinery had our brains occupied and in other places. I didn’t even realize we had been nominated this year.
But that’s what good community does, right? They rally around you, cheer you on, and remind you who you are when it feels easy to forget. Winning this award translates to clients, friends, and other small business owners taking time out of their day to affirm they see our mission for educational + sustainable tree care, and want others to know about it, as well. That we have good people in our corner will never be lost on us.
Our goal has always been quality science and education to help our clients understand and make educated decisions about their trees. To be recognized on a platform like the Mainline Parent Community means we are given an opportunity to take that message even further, and we are so grateful. Thank you to those who voted, entrusted us with your trees over the last year, and cheered us on through an unkind winter. Thank you to Kyle, Ray, Rachel, and Adler for showing up on our client’s properties and performing work that is beautiful, skilled, and meticulous. What a gift to be able to work alongside our friends day in and day out. What a gift to do something we love in a community like this 🌳🌲
