For this job, our crew removed the original fence and replaced it with a new three rail wood board fence. This style is a popular choice for open properties, farms, and larger landscapes because it gives clear boundary definition without closing off the view.

A quick fence fact: pressure treated wood is often used for outdoor fencing because it is made to better handle moisture, insects, and everyday exposure compared to untreated wood.

Ever wonder what goes into installing a cattle guard? It starts with the base.

Before the concrete sections are set, our crew builds and compacts a stone foundation to create a level, stable surface underneath. A cattle guard has to hold up to vehicle traffic while helping keep livestock where they belong, so the prep work matters just as much as the finished product.

Fun fact: cattle guards are designed so vehicles can pass over an opening while livestock are discouraged from crossing it. That means the structure underneath has to be strong, stable, and built to last.

This may look like gravel, but it’s one of the steps that helps make the whole install last.
