🗣️ Let’s Talk Tuesday: Reviews! ⭐

We all do it before trying a new restaurant; we check the reviews! We read the good and the bad. Was that unhappy review recent or from years ago? Was it a one-time issue, or are several people mentioning the same concern?

The same goes for other businesses, including bathtub refinishing! Take a little time to read about other customers’ experiences and look for patterns in their reviews.

Bathtub refinishing is still unfamiliar to many people; some don’t even know it’s an option! Hearing from someone who’s had it done can help them feel more confident about giving their own tub a second chance. 🛁

If Bathtub Revival LLC has completed a project for you, we’d love for you to leave an honest Google/Facebook review. Your experience helps others know what to expect and helps our family-owned business grow! 💙

🔍 Behind the Finish: The Prep Makes the Difference! 🛁

You see the beautiful finished bathroom in our photos but there’s a lot of work that happens before that fresh finish goes on!

At Bathtub Revival, we take each step seriously. From removing old caulk and stripping a previous coating when needed to sanding, preparing the surface, and carefully masking the surrounding area, every step has a purpose. Proper preparation helps the new coating bond to the surface and creates the foundation for a smooth, beautiful result. ✨

Then come the primer, finish coats, and fresh caulk to bring everything together!

Every project is different, and some surfaces need extra attention. That’s why we take the time to assess what your tub, shower, or tile needs and work through the process with care.

We’re proud to show you the finished transformation and the work that goes into it! 💙

🛁 MONDAY MYTH BUSTER!

“A refinishing job is a refinishing job ... so just pick the lowest price.”

MYTH! 🔍

We’re getting more and more calls from homeowners whose recent refinishing job has already started failing. What sounded like a great deal for $300 can turn into paying two or even three times that amount a few months later to have the failed coating stripped and the job redone.

There are contractors who are great at several trades, including refinishing! But before hiring anyone, please do your research and ask the right questions:

✅ Can I see photos of your recent refinishing work?
✅ Do you have reviews from past refinishing clients?
✅ How do you prepare the surface, and what products do you use?
✅ Will an existing failed coating need to be stripped?
✅ Do you provide a written warranty, and what does it cover?
✅ What are the curing time and care instructions?

Look beyond the freshly finished photos. Reviews from customers who have lived with the finish can help you understand how the work holds up and how the company responds when there’s a problem.

A lower price doesn’t automatically mean poor work, but a low quote alone doesn’t tell you what you’re getting. Asking questions now could save you a costly redo later. 💙

At Bathtub Revival, we’re happy to explain our process, share our work, and answer your questions so you can make an informed decision.

✨ Bathroom #2 at the lake house is officially COMPLETE, and this color combination deserves its own moment! 😍🛁

Everything came together beautifully in this bathroom!

We refinished the floor and walls in Galaxy, with the border inside the tub finished in Florence Sand for the perfect contrast.

For the tub, our client chose Sherwin-Williams Natural Linen, a beautiful warm shade that tied everything together perfectly! 🤍

We absolutely love when a client’s color choices come together this well. The finished bathroom feels fresh, warm, and completely refreshed!

✨ Bathroom #2 is complete, and another beautiful space brought back to life!
