Hello and Happy October! Fall is upon us and all those leaves are begriming to turn beautiful shades of red, yellow and orange. It's one of my favorite times of the year, cool mornings and warm afternoons, pumpkin spice everything, hot apple cider, and candy corn. Who could ask for more? I hope you have a few of your favorite things to enjoy during this season too!!

October begins the billing portion of the seasonal package customers as we bill one month in advance of the service change to 56k on November 1. This invoice will start the five months of lower billing, which for most customers is $19.95. This happens automatically for those customers on this package, there is no need to e-mail in to have it done. This also only affects those who have chosen to be seasonal customers. If you have any questions please let me know.

Technical Support hours are e daily, and weekends from 10 am to 8 pm. Any calls received between 8 pm and 8 am will be returned the following day during business hours. Please remember when calling after hours and weekends to select option 4 and follow the prompts.

Happy July and happy summer! The last couple of weeks have been amazing aound the area! Perfect lake weather if you ask me. I hope your Independece Day weekend is safe and full of fun!

I am so thrilled to let yo know that we are ready to start with the new billing system on our side. Now I need your help. We need you to set up your account portal and set up your auto-pay if you are a current autopay customer.

You should have received an e-mail with a PDF attachment outlining how to set up your account. If you haven't please send Here are a few tips if you haven't had a chance to set up yet.
1. There is a blue hyper-link just under the first paragraph that will take you to the portal, https://myportal.moosebytes.net/
2. Once there click on "New Portal User? Register an account here!" (no need to enter user name or password yet).
3. Next, enter the e-mail address that you received the New Billing Portal Open For Sign-Up into the Email Address Field and click on the blue box labeled Look up Email Address.
4. You will receive a new e-mail titled "Your MooseBytes customer portal account creation." (you might have to be a little patient this can take a few minutes)
5. One final note on the portal, if you are an autopay customer, once you have set up your account you will need to add the credit card you want to use. Once the credit card is entered you can slide the little button over that reads "Automatically charge this card for all future invoices." or click Add new credit card and at the next page enable the autopay button.

If you haven't set up an account yet, a nice woman named Liz will be in touch. She will be making phone calls to help you with the process.

Happy June! The trees are finally budding and everything is taking on that beautiful spring in the Pacific Northwest look. We are certainly surrounded by incredible beauty in this region!

I am so excited to announce that the new billing portal is open for business. You should have received an e-mail last Friday with a PDF attachment outlining how to set up your account. Here are a few tips if you haven't had a chance to set up yet.

EXCITING NEWS for MooseBytes customers. We are excited to help make your experience while visiting with us more enjoyable and user friendly by announcing the launch of our new MooseBytes customer portal! Our new layout and design will make it easy for our customers to interact directly with our staff by keeping them up to date with the latest news and updates.
You will receive a new email in the upcoming weeks titled "Your MooseBytes customer portal account creation." Inside this email, click the link and fill out the form with this same email again, your new username and your new password.
That's it! Your new portal user and password will now be setup. We will also be sending out a Constant Contact with this information. If you are set up for automatic payment, February is the last month your automatic payment will run through QuickBooks. Once we open the new Customer Portal you will NOT have automatic payments set up unless you go in and set this up through the portal (or by calling the office and setting it up).

Happy October!

If you are in need of immediate assistance through the 15th of October, please call the office at 509-892-5877 or email Dominic at [email protected] and he will get back to you as quickly as he can. Replying to your invoice will not get a response until after October 15.

Seasonal billing begins this month. Seasonal customers will continue to receive normal bandwidth through the 31th. Service will turn down to 56k on November 1. MooseBytes only offers one seasonal package, October 1 to February 1 (Nov 1- Mar 31 service) billing is $19.95 a month and bandwidth in turned down to 56k (dialup speed). March - September (April 1- October 31 Service) the regular monthly package increases by $10 a month. If you are interested or have questions just let us know.

A $15 late fee will be assessed on all accounts that aren't paid in full by the 15th of the month. If you need to make payment arrangements please call the office and we will be happy to help you.

Remember to please call in when you are having service issues. It is much easier for our technicians to look and diagnose while you are having the issue. ALSO make sure when you call after hours for technical support to specifically choose option 4 as any other option/mailbox doesn't get checked until the next business day.

September, I can hardly believe it's already here. There are so many wonderful things this month brings, warm days, cool nights, fall, leaves turning amazing colors and pumpkin spice everything. I hope you have a fantastic Labor day week and enjoy the last hurrah of summer!

For Seasonal Customers preparing to close things up, seasonal billing automatically begins on October 1 invoicing. On Thursday January 28, 2021 we will be having a maintenance that will affect the entire network. We have worked hard to ensure network service will continue, however there will be periods of slow/limited bandwidth as we perform the work.

Our provider is requiring we move our commercial microwave links from one portion of the roof of the building to another. In order to do this without interruption we will take one link out of service at a time. Traffic will automatically reroute through other parts of the network.

We are scheduled to begin work at 9 am. The plan is to complete the work by 3 pm. While this has been thoroughly thought through and meticulously planned there is always a chance that an unforeseen issue could arise. Please take this into account when planning for Thursday.

We apologize for the inconvenience and we will work as quickly, competently and safely as possible.
