Sometimes I overthink (as we all do) what to say when putting together a post. Tonight, I’m letting the Live Photos do their thing and go on autopilot!
This homeowner was excited to give his home a much-needed facelift, and boy, did we deliver! This bad boy soaked up 49 gallons of paint on his EIFS exterior!
A huge thank you to John for trusting CeCe’s Contracting with your home and for taking such great care of my crew with lunches along the way! 😊 It’s homeowners like you who make what we do even more enjoyable!

New sprayer for the crew!
Sprayer #5 since starting CeCe’s Contracting — and this one has one job: painting cabinets.
We already have a dedicated lacquer pump, so this one will be used strictly for the paint side of our cabinetry projects. Keeping our equipment dedicated helps us stay consistent and get that smooth, professional finish we expect.
Around here, we buy the good stuff. 😂 No Home Depot homeowner-special equipment for the crew. No shade to Home Depot — they’ve got plenty of great stuff! We just believe professional painters need professional-grade equipment, and this is what works for us.

This is somewhat of a typical night as I usually try to be in bed by 12:30 or 1am but not tonight. Call me crazy, but I still believe I am still in honeymoon phase of the business. In my opinion, the boss should be working twice as hard as their employees whether that’s behind the scenes or not, especially if you have employees. You take care of them, they will take care of you. One of the best feelings for me so far in this business is putting the crews on projects with great clients. Just as much as they interview me during an estimate, it is reciprocated. Burnout in the trades is very real. When you get great people to provide service for it’s a win-win!

A little bragging on our Project Manager, Rodney, today! 👏
This weekend, he took on the IRONMAN 70.3 Tri-Cities and absolutely killed it 💪🏊‍♂️🚴‍♂️🏃‍♂️
Rodney has been with CeCe’s Contracting since our very first residential repaint last year. He’s been right there through the highs, the lows, the growing pains, and all the craziness that comes with the first year of building a business. Now wrapping up our 2nd year and headed into our 3rd!
Watching someone who works this hard for our team turn around and accomplish something like this outside of work is pretty neat.
Way to go, Rodney! We’re proud of you, now enjoy your day off and rest up!

Coming back to not only a client, but a friend. We did an interior repaint for her this past winter, now we are back gathering colors to do a full exterior repaint. This time while we were talking about colors, she offered to make me brunch. Who can say no to avocado over toast with eggs, cheese, and a side of sausage!? Food is fuel! Good times and even better conversations.

The boys got the Burlington repaint done just in time! Front face of the store took 30 gallons on EIFS, the side took 10 gallons on stucco.
