What does all this HVAC equipment actually do?
A 20‑ton system like this is built to cool large commercial spaces efficiently — and each component plays a key role:
20 Ton Condensing Unit
This is the “heart” of the cooling system. It removes heat from the building and releases it outside. (20 tons = enough cooling for a big commercial space!)
Evaporator Coil
Inside, this is where the magic happens — it pulls heat from the air as it passes over the coil, cooling the building.
Air Handling Unit (AHU) with 5HP Motor
This moves air through the system. The powerful motor pushes conditioned air through ductwork to keep spaces comfortable.
VFD (Variable Frequency Drive)
