Project Update: SH-16 / SH-44 Interchange, Idaho

Progress continues on the Idaho Transportation Department’s SH-16 and SH-44 Interchange project, with concrete paving now approaching the 50% mark.

Projects like this require careful coordination between grading, structures, utilities, traffic control, and paving operations. Every placement is another step toward opening a safer, more efficient transportation corridor for the Treasure Valley.

We’re proud to be part of a project that will serve Idaho for generations and appreciate the partnership with the Idaho Transportation Department and the entire project team.

Mobilization is underway for Interstate 90 Cabin Creek to Lake Easton. Over 120,000 yd.³ of concrete will be needed to reconstruct this portion of freeway.

06/25/2026

Idaho Transportation Department SR 16 - SR 44 Interchange project is underway and coming along. The crew has been at it placing ramps in preparation for a major traffic switch.
