Look at what we have here! Just so you know, at the beginning of the year we chat with our Shaw Floors and Mohawk Industries reps about the new products that are coming out this year. We order the samples that we think will work for our customers. It takes some time for the samples to start showing up, but when they do, they show up in droves. Here are a few that FedEx dropped off for us last week.

Here's what to know before you buy:
Solid hardwood expands and contracts with humidity, which can cause warping in moisture-prone spaces like basements or bathrooms.

Luxury vinyl plank (LVP) is 100% waterproof and holds up in high-humidity environments.

Engineered hardwood is a middle ground. It handles humidity better than solid wood but still has some limits.

Knowing this before you shop saves you from a very expensive mistake later. 💡
