HDG’s Pend Oreille River Stilt House.

Reimagining a grandfathered-in dilapidated boathouse structure, we utilized the footprint and dismantled the original down to its steel piers, building a new structure right up from the same foundation.
-
Japanese and mid-century inspired lines, mixed with a rugged Pacific Northwest finish, serve as the perfect companion to the primary residence sitting on the main lot. With exterior cedar milled within 50 miles of the site, this compact structure shines in its many details.
