Wright Lighting has been providing lighting representation to eastern Washington and northern Idaho. Over the years, the company has grown from Jim and Patsy in 1976, to the current 28 employees. Wright Lighting is a family business that only has one rule: all employees are considered family.

Our hometown has been devastated by the fires over this past week. More than 800 structures have been lost, many people losing everything they have and so many others being displaced for an unknown amount of time. It has been a horrific and excruciating time for so many in our community. Many of you have reached out to ask how you can help. We wanted to do our due diligence first to make sure your generosity goes to the absolute best hands possible and we are proud to partner with and to serve as an official donation drop-off site.

We are collecting:
* Food & water
* Clothing & hygiene products
* School supplies & toys
* Pet supplies
* Essential supplies for first responders

Volunteers will be sorting and prepping everything here, then distributing items to local community foundations (full list at the link below). The long-term goal is to build a centralized, temporary "store" where displaced families can walk in, grab exactly what they need, and walk out without ever seeing a price tag. Bringing this to life will take a lot of time and resources. Anything you can give today will be put to immediate use.

We wanted to share an update about what is going on in our beloved home town. Spokane was hit by severe, wind-driven wildfires over the weekend. While several of our team members—including our owner, Autumn Simmons—have been evacuated and displaced, we are grateful to report that everyone is safe and our homes are intact.

As we focus on safety and transition back to work, we appreciate your patience with any temporary communication delays.Many of you have asked how to help.

Yesterday the JC Wright team spent the day volunteering with Habitat for Humanity. It was an honor learning more about the mission of this organization. Working alongside their incredible team, we had the opportunity to help build a home for two deserving families. Although we left the site a little dirty and tired, we also left completely fulfilled after a rewarding day of giving back to our community. ❤️

We want to extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone who joined us to celebrate our 50th anniversary!

This milestone would not be possible without the incredible foundation laid by Jim and Patsy Wright, whose vision and dedication started it all. We are equally grateful to Doug and Cathy Wright for stepping up to take over the reins, carrying that legacy forward with passion and leadership.

As we look ahead to the next 50 years, we are thrilled to celebrate the next chapter of our journey under the leadership of Autumn Simmons, who officially took the reins in January of this year.

Today, we are incredibly proud to celebrate our 50th Anniversary! Reaching this milestone is a testament to family, hard work, and our amazing community.
This journey began half a century ago thanks to the vision and dedication of Jim and Patsy Wright, who poured their hearts into starting this company from the ground up.

For the past 30 years, that legacy of excellence has continued under the leadership of their son, Doug, and his wife, Cathy. They have successfully guided us into the future while staying true to our founding roots.

As we hit this 50-year mark, we are also celebrating an exciting new chapter. This past January, the business was purchased by Autumn Simmons. Autumn is honored to carry on the established name, family values, and rich legacy of the company into the next 50 years!

Thank you to the Wright family for your decades of leadership, to Autumn for steering us into the future, and to our loyal customers for making this milestone possible. 🥂
