We’re excited to share that Power City Electric was awarded the electrical portion of Spokane Community College’s Old Main renovation project! ⚡

This major campus improvement will modernize one of SCC’s most historic buildings and create a new central hub for student services. We’re proud to help power a project that will serve students and our Spokane community for years to come.

🔧 Teamwork in Action 🔧

When the job calls for it, our crews step up together.
Recently, our Line Department teamed up with our Inside Wiremen at the VA Hospital to support the installation of a new 500KVA transformer for an MRI expansion project.

From removing a medium-voltage switch cabinet to pulling in new 13,200V feeders, this was a true cross-division effort focused on precision, safety, and getting the job done right.

⚡ Work like this powers more than buildings, it supports critical care and our community.

Join us in congratulating Antonio D and J.T. W on completing the apprenticeship program and officially becoming Journeyman Electricians!

Antonio completed his apprenticeship, earning his journeyman licenses in both Washington and Idaho. He credits the support, guidance, and hands-on learning at Power City Electric for laying the foundation for his career.
He is excited about learning new technologies, continuing to grow his skills, and giving back by helping mentor apprentices.

JT also completed the apprenticeship program, earning his journeyman license in Washington! A major turning point for JT came early in his career on the I-90 relight job, where the trust placed in him by his mentors helped everything click. He values challenging work and strong crews, and one of his most memorable projects was the Trent Bridge at Hamilton, where tough tasks became rewarding because of the team tackling them together.
