You can’t have a custom home with bad grading. 🚧🏑

These homeowners in New Caney, Texas were having serious drainage issues and were tired of their animals constantly being stuck in the mud β€” especially with all this crazy weather lately. 🌧️🐴🐾

We caught a small window of good weather, got on-site fast, and knocked the project out before the next round of rain moved in. Now the property is draining properly and cleaned up the right way.

Proper grading is what protects your property, foundation, and investment long-term. Don’t wait until water problems get worse.

If you need grading, drainage work, land clearing, or site preparation done right, feel free to message us anytime. We’re always happy to help.

🚧 Big transformation on this property in Porter 🌲

We were called out to underbrush the lot, remove select trees, and clear several large branches to get this site ready for construction 🏑πŸ’ͺ

Excited to see this custom home come to life! A successful build starts with the groundwork, and choosing the right contractor from the beginning makes all the difference. Your foundation is what everything is built on πŸ”₯

Stripped vegetation, graded for proper drainage, and installed crushed concrete, compacted and sealed with a smooth drum roller for a clean, durable finish. Another quick parking addition knocked out in Humble, Texas.

We hold every project to a high standard and make sure it’s done right from start to finish.

Moisture was too high, so we had to dry the subgrade to bring it within spec and achieve proper density before placing select fill.

This project required proof rolling and density testing on the subgrade.

Need it done right the first time? Give us a call.

The question we always hear πŸ‘‚
How many inches to strip?

Most of the time you’re looking at:
β€’ 3”–6” for typical grass/topsoil
β€’ Up to 8”+ if it’s thick organics, roots, or really dark/top-heavy soil

The goal isn’t a fixed number it’s removing all organics until you hit firm, workable subgrade. If you still see roots, dark soil, or it feels spongy, keep going.

Or what do you guys think let me know in the comments πŸ€”πŸ›
