So as some of you are aware we moved in some of our equipment to help the Town of Spencer with their recent damage from last Fridays storm. We take pride in our work and have really enjoyed working with the Town of Spencer Street department the last few days.

Today they asked us to tackle a tree that quite frankly we just didn’t have the proper equipment to remove safely. After exhausting all options on doing the removal ourselves we made a phone call to one of the owners of Bluestone Tree. We explained in detail the situation and snapped some photos and sent them. Within a couple of hours they arrived and made quick work of a very dangerous situation that probably would not have survived tomorrows storms.

Their staff was knowledgeable and professional.

We know we are promoting another tree business, however thats not the point.

At the end of the day its about doing the right thing to help the members of our community and we will sleep well tonight knowing we did just that.

Thanks again to Bluestone Tree. We appreciate it.

First off we want to send our deepest condolences to the people that have lost so much over the last couple of days.

We are no longer in the residential tree trimming business so read below as an honest opinion from experience.

However with tragedy comes opportunist. Fly by night companies will begin to appear at your door offering to clean up your homes all while telling you a laundry list of things in an attempt to get your business and your money.

Ask them for insurance. Then call the insurance and make sure they have paid their premiums. I can print an insurance card in minutes.

Ask them for references. Call their references.

Our biggest advice would be to use local, established and trusted companies.

The John Deere] 333G from with the John Deere] mulching head attachment has been a game changer for us. From cutting ATV trails to clearing large plots of land for commercial development this machine has proved its worth.

The 550 is the oldest machine in our fleet. However this workhorse never lets us down. No matter how cold she fires up. No matter how muddy she gets around. Nothing super fancy. Just a hard working piece of equipment.

The page is back! For some reason it was unpublished for a while and we finally brought it back to life. We are NOT taking on any new residential customers at this time. It’s likely that will be the case for the foreseeable future but we certainly appreciate all of the support.

We are going to start posting more frequently about our day to day operations.

We know the last year has been tough on a lot of people and are very thankful for the opportunity to have consistent work.
