A plumbing adventure I did at my own house/girlfriend's house. We needed a water softener but nowhere to put it and not easy to add since the house is on a concrete slab. My solution was to move the pressure tank up. Since this is not a customer's house I decided to do the carpentry myself but I wouldn't do it at a customer's house because I'm not a great carpenter. I still have two to figure out how to do some shelving and make all the carpentry look good but at least I got my water back on. Took me around 8 hours

If you left your outdoor hoses connected during these last cold spells check your outdoor faucets and make sure they are not busted! After that get those hoses disconnected!

Looks simple. I promise it wasn't lol. That simple looking shower faucet cost more than most people's entire shower and takes 3 times as long to install as a normal faucet. Was a fun challenge though and turned out just like I planned. Only the plumbing was done by me.

Be careful your old water heater could look like this and cause more problems then just a loss of hot water.
