🔥 No Hot Water? It Doesn’t Always Mean You Need a New Water Heater.

We recently visited a homeowner whose gas water heater had completely stopped working, leaving the home without hot water.

Instead of immediately recommending a replacement, we performed a full diagnostic inspection to identify the actual problem.

During our inspection, we checked:
✔️ The igniter (spark system)
✔️ Gas supply to the water heater
✔️ The gas shut-off valve
✔️ Gas supply lines
✔️ The burner and control components

The issue turned out to be a faulty ignition system combined with a gas supply problem. After making the necessary repairs, the water heater fired up normally, and the homeowner had hot water again—without the expense of replacing the entire unit.

What homeowners should know:

If your gas water heater won’t start, don’t assume it’s time for a replacement. Common causes include:
