Proud to see Sussex County Community College celebrate the opening of its newly renovated Chemistry Lab.

HQW Architects is pleased to have helped create a modern, functional laboratory environment that better supports SCCC’s STEM and nursing students through hands-on learning, improved safety, and upgraded equipment and infrastructure.

Projects like this are a great example of how thoughtful renovations can transform existing spaces and enhance the student experience.

We’re pleased to announce that Martin Pumar has joined HQW Architects as an Architectural Designer. He graduated from New Jersey Institute of Technology and has joined the team full time this past June.

Outside of architecture, Martin enjoys staying active, skiing, playing volleyball, video games, art and fashion.

We’re excited to have Martin as part of the HQW team and look forward to seeing him grow with the firm!

Today marks the final day of Molly Englehardt’s summer internship with HQW Architects!

Since joining us in June, Molly has spent the summer immersing herself in our projects, gaining hands-on experience and quickly becoming a valuable member of the HQW team.

Molly is currently studying at Marywood University and, outside the office, enjoys the outdoors, swimming, skiing, video games, and art.

We’ve truly enjoyed having Molly with us this summer and appreciate all her hard work and contributions. We look forward to welcoming her back and seeing what’s next for her!

Camp at the Lake | Montclair YMCA
Progress is underway on the new Lodge at Camp at the Lake for the Montclair YMCA. As the future heart of the camp, the Lodge is being designed to connect indoor and outdoor program spaces while supporting camp life with a teaching kitchen and nurse’s office.

This building is part of a broader master plan for the campus, where HQW Architects is also designing the new Performing Arts Center, Bathhouses, and Environmental Pavilion. It is exciting to see this vision begin to take shape through construction.

More to come as the camp’s next chapter is built.
