Working on my 1997 Suzuki TL1000S Vtwin electrical. It seems to be one wire in most electrical issues. I like the simplest answer vs. replacing everything and throwing money at the problem. I used AI to diagnose. It took me 2 hours of taking pictures, reading and testing everything before the problem was solved. One wire. I used a jumper wire from the ignition 10amp fuse and bypassed to the orange/black wire and determined the orange black wire under the tank has a break somewhere. I still need to remove the air cleaner and trim out the break and solder it back together.

I remember watching Travis Pastrana do the first double back flip. I think it was XGames right? Crazy now everyone does them forwards and backwards. I like to do hill climbs on CR500’s and go fast through the desert in long travel cars or even a 1982 air cooled CR 500 power plant dirt bike converted to a 3 wheeler with a dome racing piston ported and polished, long swing arm extended front forks, over sized tires and built suspension all to handle 120 mph while skipping across whoops. Get blasted while filming behind alcohol Banshee sand drags at Olds in Glamis sand dunes. Im more interested in participating than watching. Something I hope to bring to my kids when not working of course. Got to do more fun stuff.

If you constantly have to adjust the water temperature from hot to cold and then from cold to hot while taking a shower you might have this problem. Have you ever seen someone replace everything and still not fix it? Me too. I’ve even done it before it’s a waste of time and money right? I like to fix stuff. Over the years I’ve learned I like to keep it simple. I also like to save time and money for everyone. I was in a home with an instant hot water device. Tankless hot water system. Water restrictors inside shower heads can cause all kinds of problems. One is Water temperature fluctuations. Not cool. Really makes taking a shower annoying. The problem wasn’t the instant hot water heater. It wasn’t the adjustment on the valve. It was this little restrictor. Inside the shower head. I removed it and the water temperature was constant and perfect. Easy fix. Low cost for the customer. Everyone happy.
