For more information about the benefits of forest management, call our office at (906)-497-5119. Tom St. John (owner) would be more than willing to offer a FREE on-sight consultation. 🌲🪵 St. John Forest Products had the pleasure of hosting local area students for a fun and educational morning in the woods. 🪵🌲

They first listened to foresters from the Michigan Department of Natural Resources discuss tree species and how they are properly managed. Students then learned about forestry equipment from Jordan St. John and took turns on ride-alongs with St. John Forest Products Operators. Jim Charlier, along with Ponsse North America, showed students how to operate machinery using a mobile simulator and a Ponsse Forwarder. Students also heard from Billerud North America forester Dawson Bilski.

❤️St. John Forest Products would like to extend a heartfelt thank-you to everyone who was present today and helped make this outing possible, supporting the logging industry and inspiring future generations of interest in forest management.
