If you’re hesitant to commit to color, let the backsplash do the talking. Cabinetry is one of the biggest investments in a kitchen, while tile is much easier to update down the road. Choosing a soft sage, rich blue, or warm terracotta backsplash lets you bring personality and depth into the space without locking yourself into a look for decades. If your style changes in 10 years, replacing tile is far simpler and more cost effective than replacing an entire kitchen. It’s a great way to add personality while keeping the foundation timeless.
