Kaylen had me hang a curtain rod and curtains in her new apartment.

George had to replace the drain pipe to his 2nd floor Bathtub. He asked me to patch the sheetrock in the living room the plumbers removed. Patch and paint done!

Rainy days, good days for interior projects. Painting, new floors, new molding. Or even changing out your door k***s to new shiny models. I prefer lever handles, as people age and grip strength diminishes levers are easier to operate. Great for children and people with limited hand dexterity too.
Remember to check your basement drainage systems on days like this. They have been getting tested a lot in the past weeks.

Thinking of toilets today! I know they are gross! The water in the back tank is clean by the way and does not touch the bowl water just so we are clear. I see a lot of people get grossed out by tank water. Anyway. Pay attention to any water running noise when the toilet is not being flushed or refilling the tank. A small leak can add up to a big water bill. A bad flapper valve or a tank that is too full can be seen by a little water trickling into the bowl when the toilet is not operating. If you can catch a reflection off the water you see a little ripple on the surface from the leaking water dispensing into the bowl. Gross alert!!! I have also seen when there is warm urine in the bowl you will see a little mixing of the warm and cold leak water at the bottom of the bowl. Also look around the floor and wall valve for water leaks. These could be a sign of a compromised wax seal or a valve of connection line the needs adjustment or replacement.
