No blueprints. No deadlines. Just a great day outdoors with the people who make our work possible.

This October, we hosted our Annual Sporting Clay Invitational at The Huntsman Hunt Club in Dryden, MI, a day set aside to say thank you to our clients and partners!

The morning started with coffee and breakfast, then it was out to the course for a few hours of clay shooting, friendly competition, and plenty of good conversations. We wrapped things up with lunch, drinks, and raffle prizes back at the clubhouse.

Every project we build is a team effort, and days like this remind us how lucky we are to work alongside such an incredible group. To everyone who joined us — thank you for your trust, your partnership, and for bringing the fun. Same time next year?

Big news: Vinessa Palermo has been named a finalist for Volunteer of the Year at the REjournals Michigan Real Estate Awards!

From building a preschool in Ghana to championing the Oakland County Foster Closet, sponsoring youth soccer clinics in Detroit, and mentoring the next generation of women in construction, Vinessa shows up, again and again, for the people who need her most.

We couldn't be more proud to see her hands-on generosity recognized. Congratulations, Vinnie!

Some projects are more than construction — they're community responsibility.

LaSalle is proud to share the completion of the Nichols Drive Slope Stabilization Project for the University of Michigan, a project that required precision, collaboration, and an unwavering commitment to safety.

By the numbers:
📏 440 linear feet of tangent-pile retaining wall and an additional 200+ feet of hillside concrete retaining knee wall
🚧 45,000 sq ft of pavement resurfacing
🛠️ 1,500+ linear feet of sidewalk & curb repairs

What set this project apart was the extraordinary level of coordination involved. Our team navigated requirements from four agencies/corporations — Amtrak, MDOT, the University of Michigan Medical Center, and the National Railroad Safety Service — all while working adjacent to an active railroad corridor and maintaining continuous emergency access to the Michigan Medicine Helipad.

Every single member of our project team completed Amtrak's railroad safety certification before setting foot on site. Because at LaSalle, safety isn't a checkbox — it's our culture.

We're incredibly proud of our team for delivering long-term infrastructure improvements in a complex project environment. This is the kind of work that reminds us why we love what we do.
