Oakland Hills Country Club has entered a new chapter with the opening of its clubhouse, the centerpiece of its historic “Next 100 Project.” Its timeless American design restores the architectural presence of one of golf’s great venues.
Neumann/Smith Architecture is proud to have partnered with Oakland Hills Country Club on this project over the past four years. From the outset, preserving the spirit of C. Howard Crane’s 1921 design was a priority for the membership. Equally important was thoughtfully integrating the details, modern features, and functionality expected of one of the world’s finest private clubs.
The result is a clubhouse that feels both timeless and renewed, inside and out. This transformation reflects a true team effort, with a dedicated group working together at every stage to bring the vision to life. We are proud of the result and grateful for the opportunity to contribute to a place with such a rich history. We wish the Oakland Hills membership continued success for years to come.
