One of our recent maple floor restoration projects came out beautifully! This floor had seen years of wear, with a scratched, dull, yellowed finish that hid the natural beauty of the maple. We repaired multiple sections in the kitchen using maple flooring carefully removed from the area where the new island was installed, allowing the repairs to blend seamlessly with the existing floor. Next, we sanded the entire floor using our dustless sanding equipment, revealing the bright, natural maple beneath the old finish. To complete the project, we applied Bona Woodline polyurethane, custom tinted by Fink's Paint Store to perfectly complement the home's trim. The transformation is incredible, and we're thrilled with how this project turned out. It's always rewarding to bring a hardwood floor back to life while preserving the character of the home.

This week’s project turned out beautifully. The home featured an original Bruce prefinished hardwood floor installed in the 1990s. After decades of wear and tear the floor was heavily scratched and much of the original finish had worn away exposing bare wood in many areas. Using our dustless system we sanded the floor with no dust left behind. We then applied Bona’s Aged Pewter stain giving the hardwood a modern look while preserving its timeless character. To complete the transformation, the floor was finished with Bona Traffic HD Raw, which enhances durability while maintaining the natural appearance and feel of raw wood. We also installed new white base shoe molding throughout the home to complete the trim work. The result is a stunning transformation that perfectly blends modern style with classic craftsmanship—a true masterpiece.

Another beautiful Red Oak floor project completed last week! The kitchen and foyer were previously finished with tile, so we seamlessly laced in new Red Oak from City Floor Supply to create a flawless transition between the existing and new flooring. As part of the upgrade we installed flush-mount Oak floor vents throughout the home, replacing the outdated recessed metal registers for a cleaner more integrated look. The entire floor was sanded using our dustless sanding system and finished with a planetary sander to achieve an exceptionally smooth, furniture-grade surface. To protect and enhance the natural beauty of the wood for years to come, we applied Bona Woodline finish system for long-lasting durability and performance. The result is a timeless, seamless Red Oak floor that looks as though it has always been part of the home.

Here’s a beautiful set of Red Oak steps we recently refinished. We custom-mixed a stain to perfectly complement the prefinished flooring, blending Bona Sand Dune and Grey to create a gorgeous weathered look. To complete the project, we sealed the stairs with Bona IntenseSeal and finished them with Bona Traffic HD Xxtra Matte. Bona Traffic HD is one of the most durable waterborne finishes available, making it the perfect choice for high-traffic staircases where both beauty and long-lasting protection matter.

These three small rooms we recently sanded and refinished in Hughesville turned out amazing! The flooring is original vintage Cromar hardwood, manufactured right here in Williamsport, Pennsylvania between the 1920s and 1970s. The Cromar Company was founded by two families from the region’s lumber era — the Crooks and Ditmar families. At one time, Cromar was one of the East Coast’s leading manufacturers of prefinished oak flooring, and many homes throughout Williamsport and the surrounding area still feature original Cromar floors today. Cromar closed their doors in the early 70s and the industrial park where it was located was replaced with Williamsport Community College now Pennsylvania College of Technology.

Here’s a beautiful blend of old-growth Red Oak and White Oak brought back to life in this charming cottage in Eaglesmere, Pennsylvania. Untouched for nearly 50 years, the character and natural beauty of the wood remained remarkably preserved. Based on the mix of Red and White Oak, we believe the lumber was likely harvested and milled locally — a true reflection of the area’s craftsmanship and history. The floors were carefully sanded using our dustless system, keeping the job site clean throughout the entire process. To preserve and protect the wood for decades to come, the floors were finished with Bona Woodline oil-modified polyurethane leaving the wood with a classic look!

This floor had been covered with carpet for over 20 years. Last week we removed the carpet, revealing beautiful Red Oak. The holes left from the old tack strips were filled with matching Red Oak filler for a smooth even surface. The floor was then sanded using dustless equipment to keep the process clean, and finished with Bona Woodline polyurethane giving it a durable coating and a refreshed new look.

This white oak floor has a clean, straight grain thanks to the rift and quartered cut, giving it a simple and classic look. It was sanded using dustless equipment leaving the space clean and free of sanding dust. We then finished the floor with Loba Invisible to protect the wood while keeping it looking as natural as possible. Loba Invisible leaves the wood looking and feeling like raw wood. Beautiful!
