That’s one of those trees that looks beautiful…until you see what’s happening inside. 🌳😳

After the recent storm, a homeowner called Huffman Tree Company out to evaluate this tree. While looking it over, we found a split running all the way down the trunk. Unfortunately, this wasn’t something we could safely leave alone. ⚠️

The scary part? If that tree had failed, there was no question where it was headed — right toward the house. 🏠🌳

We made the decision to remove it before the tree had the chance to cause some serious damage. That’s why having storm-damaged or questionable trees checked out can make such a difference. 👍

Last week’s storm definitely kept us busy. 🌳💨

We’re still out cleaning up storm damage around Urbana, Springfield, Catawba, Mechanicsburg and the London area.

There are still plenty of broken limbs, fallen trees and damaged trees that need to be taken care of. We’ve been working our way through the area helping homeowners get their yards and properties cleaned up and safe again.

This was one of the homes that took a hit when the big storm came through. A tree ended up falling onto the house, and our crew was called in to safely remove it.

Jobs like this are a good reminder of just how quickly a storm can turn a tree into a serious problem. We took our time, worked carefully around the house, and got the tree down safely so the homeowners could start getting things back to normal.

🌿 Ground Workers (1-2 positions)
✅ Valid driver's license required
✅ Experience pulling a trailer preferred

🚛 CDL Driver
✅ Must be willing to help with ground work and/or operate equipment

🪣 Bucket Truck Operator
✅ Experienced
✅ Must have a valid driver's license and experience pulling a trailer

💲 Pay is based on experience.
