Back-to-back golf at Samoset Resort in Rockport, Maine! ⛳ Our teams had a great time at the Maine Better Transportation Association Fall Convention/Outing, followed by the Allen Golf Classic, hosted by Allen Insurance and Financial, where proceeds help send Maine kids to YMCA Adventure Camp. October 1 means one thing around here: National Employee Ownership Month is officially underway! And there's no better way to begin than with one of our favorite annual traditions, the ESOP Month Kick-Off Breakfast.

As a 100% employee-owned firm, every boundary we survey, every site we engineer, and every project we see through construction has a piece of each of our owners in it. So this morning, we fueled up with pancakes, coffee, and plenty of doughnuts while celebrating the team shaping our communities and building something that's truly ours.

Our Sanford office is growing! We're excited to welcome Ashlie Mills as our new Regional Business Manager. Ashlie joins us after several years in leadership and operations roles with the U.S. Department of State. She brings strong roots in Southern Maine through her work with youth sports in Wells. We can't wait for our clients and community partners to get to know her.

Team Sebago put their steady hands to the test at the ACE Maine Giant Jenga Tournament, playing alongside peers from firms across the state.

It was a fun night for a good reason. ACE introduces Maine high school students to careers in architecture, construction, and engineering, and we're proud to support that work.

The commute was a little different yesterday. 🚢 Our survey crew took the ferry out to Peaks Island to locate water valves for the Portland Water District. We're always glad to work in Maine's island communities and support the infrastructure that keeps them running. And with weather like this, we couldn't have asked for a better way to wrap up summer.

Thanks to everyone who stopped by our table at the University of New Hampshire Career and Internship Fair! 👋

We loved hearing what students are excited about and where they hope to head after graduation.

Mr. John Goff was there with Samuel Bibeau, EI, who is a Civil Engineer and UNH alum. They were also joined by Darren and Matthew, our UNH interns from this past summer. It was great having so many Wildcats at the table.

Welcome back to the team, Ray Dulac! Ray did his co-op with us last fall, then went off and earned his Civil Engineering degree from Wentworth Institute of Technology. Now he has returned as a full-time member of Sebago Technics! We love nothing more than seeing our former co-ops come back and join us for good.

Join us in giving Chris Jamieson a well-deserved congrats on earning his Land Surveyor in Training (LSIT) designation!

Chris joined our South Portland team just over a year ago and has quickly become a trusted, highly valued part of the group. From day one he's brought a strong work ethic, real dedication, and a genuine drive to keep learning and growing in his field.

The LSIT is a big step on the road to full Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) licensure, and it reflects the solid technical foundation Chris has been building. We're excited to keep supporting him as he works toward that next milestone.
