There are plenty of places to save money. Your renovation probably shouldn’t be where you start experimenting.

The lowest number can look great until you find out what wasn’t included, what was rushed, or what has to be fixed later. Good planning, experienced people, and quality work cost something for a reason.

You’re going to live with the result a whole lot longer than you’ll remember the quote.

A bathroom can have plenty of square footage and still feel cluttered.

The problem is usually where everything is supposed to go.

Good bathroom design plans storage around what you actually use every day. Deep drawers, built-in niches, medicine cabinets, linen storage, and outlets inside cabinets can keep the things you need close without leaving everything sitting on the counter.

Storage shouldn’t be something you figure out after the bathroom is designed. It should be part of the design from the beginning.

Planning a bathroom remodel? Let’s make sure the finished space works as good as it looks.

Renovating a home and strengthening a community have more in common than you might think.

Both take vision, determination, preparation, and a willingness to listen to what people actually need.

That’s one of the things I appreciate about The Ivy Table. They’re showing up with a purpose: making life a little easier for the people around them.

We renovate houses for a living, but I believe every business has a responsibility to help build the community around it, too.

That’s the kind of work worth supporting.

The best compliment isn’t just that the finished project looks good. It’s hearing that the homeowner felt guided through the entire process.

Renovations come with a lot of decisions, and our job is to make those decisions easier. From design and material selections to construction and the final details, we want you to understand what’s happening and feel confident about where the project is headed.

Quality matters. So does the experience getting there.

Thank you for trusting the Seghi Renovations team with your home!

A renovation doesn’t happen in a vacuum. For a lot of clients, life is still happening right in the middle of it.

That’s why Michelle’s comment meant so much to us. This was a major addition affecting more than half of the first floor, and her family was still able to live in the home while the work was happening. That takes more than good construction. It takes a team that respects boundaries, communicates, keeps the job organized, and remembers that your house is still your home even when it’s temporarily a jobsite.

Renovation will always create some disruption. Our job is to make sure we’re not creating more than necessary.

That’s part of the Seghi experience. Visit seghi.net.

The easiest way to make a renovation feel overwhelming is to think you’re supposed to manage every moving part yourself.

Design decisions, material selections, measurements, scheduling, budgets, trades, timelines, problem-solving — there’s a lot happening before the finished room ever comes together.

That’s why the right renovation company should make the process feel lighter, not add more to your plate. We plan, guide, communicate, and keep the details moving so you can focus on the decisions that actually need your input.

That’s the Seghi experience. Visit seghi.net.

Sometimes the problem isn’t that you need more space. It’s that the space you have isn’t working hard enough.

Opening up the right areas can allow natural light to travel farther through the home, improve sightlines, and make everyday movement between rooms feel a lot easier.

But “open concept” shouldn’t mean knocking down every wall in sight.

Good design looks at how you use the home first, then decides where opening things up actually improves the layout and where a little separation still makes sense.

The goal isn’t simply more open. It’s better function.

South Lyon has changed a lot since Seghi Renovations opened in 1989, but one thing Jim still loves is that it can feel like a small town when the community shows up for each other.

That’s a big reason we’re proud to support events like Pumpkinfest and why you’ll find Jim and Anna Lisa out at places like Blake’s talking about more than renovation.

Because good design starts the same way good community does: by paying attention to people.

When Anna Lisa walks into a kitchen, she doesn’t start with cabinet colors. She starts with, “What’s driving you crazy in here?” Where are you running out of storage? What doesn’t flow? What makes everyday life harder than it needs to be? Then we design around fixing those things.

Anna Lisa likes “super cute.” Jim demands “drop-dead gorgeous.”

Together, we’ve officially landed on super gorgeous.

Sounds about right.

Honesty and transparency shouldn’t be extras in a renovation. They should be the standard.

Homeowners are trusting us with their homes, their budgets, and a project they’ll live with for years. That means having straightforward conversations, setting realistic expectations, and keeping communication open throughout the process.

We’re proud when the finished space looks great, but reviews like this remind us that how we get there matters just as much.

Thank you for trusting the Seghi Renovations team. We truly appreciate the recommendation.

Turns out being the “creative genius” does not mean Jim should be trusted with every tool on the jobsite.

And that’s kind of the point.

A strong renovation company isn’t one person trying to be great at everything. Jim designs, solves problems, and pushes the vision. Our installers bring the craftsmanship and know-how to actually build it. Everybody has a lane, and everybody’s really good in it.

The best projects happen when the right people are doing the right jobs.

Jim included. 😂
