We wanted the kitchen to be the centerpiece of this Newport whole-home renovation, so every material decision was made with that in mind.

We paired cabinets with a Taj Mahal Quartzite island, warm wood countertops from , polished chrome hardware, and integrated lighting that completely changed the mood of the space.

It’s hard to remember what this bathroom looked like before we renovated so we had to go back and pull the before photo (second image).

The centerpiece is a hand-made mosaic the clients selected themselves and named “The 5 Fishes.” We set this custom piece into the shower wall, where it became the focal point for this bathroom.

This level of intentionality is why we start every project with a design phase. Decisions related to tile selection, niche placement, and fixture layout require coordination before construction begins.

In just under 30 days, we’ve brought this addition project from a dirt foundation to a fully weather-sealed structure.

The new addition will create a primary bedroom, walk-in closet, and expanded living space designed to feel fully integrated with the original home. Now that the exterior shell is complete, we turn our attention to electrical, insulation, drywall, and interior finishes.

The biggest transformation in a home starts with rethinking how the space needs to feel and function once it’s lived in.

For this renovation, the kitchen layout was completely reworked to create a more open and functional flow throughout the first floor.

Structural changes, a new steel beam, relocated plumbing and electrical, and a new sink window all played a role in reshaping this kitchen.

For our new build project, the compass floor inlay creates a
focal point, while the staircase and cable railings introduce a clean, modern feel that opens up the space.

Details like these work best when materials, sightlines, and
