Today I’m thankful for long legs. They make attic access a little easier, because after climbing in and out of enough attics, it’s becoming pretty clear that it’s time for a new attic ladder. Some things wear out from age, and some wear out from hard work. This one has definitely earned its retirement. “Get the 4 foot ladder!” 😅

It’s not always easy doing things the right way, but it sure beats knowing corners weren’t cut.

This is a 2-story duplex — roughly 1,700 sq ft per unit — and both systems came in at only 6% oversized with 1.5 ton equipment. That’s almost unheard of in today’s “throw bigger equipment at it” world.

Honestly, we need manufacturers to start making more true 1.0–1.25 ton split systems for projects like this. Until then… ducted mini splits baby.

Proper load calculations.
Proper duct design.
Proper airflow.
Proper humidity control.

Good ain’t cheap and cheap ain’t good. 🔥❄️

If you know, you know. And if you don’t know - don’t guess.

You can make motor replacements a 3-wire setup, but if you’re doing a 4-wire setup, mount the capacitor the way it should’ve been mounted in the first place.

Do it right. Don’t be a hack. Prevent callbacks before they happen.

A quality installation should come with measurable results - not guesswork.

We verify every system with real performance testing, so homeowners can feel confident their system is operating the way it was designed.

If measurements and testing aren’t part of the conversation, it’s worth asking about.
